Healthy Watersheds Program Survey

Every year, the St. Clair Region Conservation Authority works with landowners and partners across the watershed to support projects that help to improve soil health and protect water quality.

The SCRCA’s Healthy Watershed Program provides technical and financial support for a variety of projects including planting riparian buffers (native grasses, shrubs, and/or trees), erosion control, building soil health, creating wetlands, fencing livestock from watercourses, wildlife habitat creation, and more!

Through this program, SCRCA staff will meet with landowners on their property, offer advice, and assist with project design and the coordination of contractors and materials. The SCRCA is able to obtain grant funding or direct landowners to funding opportunities to offset the cost of implementing stewardship projects that improve water quality.

Visit SCRCA’s Grants for Landowner’s page for additional resources and case studies.

We want to hear from you!

Tell us about the types of stewardship projects you are interested in undertaking on your property or would simply like to learn more about.

We will add you to our contact list and reach out to you if funding becomes available to support the projects you are interested in implementing on your property.

You can also sign up to receive occasional updates about upcoming expert-led and peer-to-peer knowledge sharing events being held in the watershed.

This will help us determine if project funding is available and if you are in a priority area

We will contact you if funding becomes available to support the practices/projects you are interested in implementing

    8. I am interested in learning more about (check all that apply):

Your feedback will help us determine what expert-led and peer-to-peer knowledge sharing events we should host in future
