In honour of the St. Clair Region Conservation Authority’s 60th Anniversary, a special virtual presentation was hosted featuring Dr. Dianne Saxe – internationally recognized environmental lawyer and former Environmental Commissioner of Ontario. In her presentation, “Why Wetlands Matter”, Dr. Saxe highlights the importance of wetlands in maintaining a healthy and resilient ecosystem and how they play a crucial role in fighting against the impacts of climate change.
