March 2022 | Jessica Van Zwol, Healthy Watershed Specialist, SCRCA
This green infrastructure case study looks at a local green infrastructure project undertaken on a farm in Alvinston, Ontario that used berms, rock chutes, and a grassed waterway in order to reduce sediment accumulation in the McIntyre Weed Drain and Ferguson Drain.
This project was coordinated by the St. Clair Region Conservation Authority with funding support from the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs.
