Recovery Efforts for the Spiny Softshell Turtle in the Sydenham River

The Sydenham River supports an amazing diversity of aquatic and semi-aquatic life including several Species at Risk. In this video, the St. Clair Region Conservation Authority (SCRCA) introduces the federally and provincially endangered Eastern Spiny Softshell Turtle. Watch to learn more about the threats this turtle faces and how the SCRCA is working in partnership with landowners along the Sydenham to recover this species.
