January 26, 2022 | SCRCA Stewardship Team
On January 26, 2022, the St. Clair Region Conservation Authority (SCRCA) hosted a virtual Soil Health Conference that brought together local farmers and experts to share knowledge about best management practices that can build healthy and sustainable soils. The conference was funded in part by the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (OMAFRA) and the Department of Fisheries and Oceans Canada.
The conference featured 18 speakers including Certified Crop Advisors, representatives from OMAFRA and the SCRCA, soil experts, and champion farmers.
